Yeah, pull the door panel and look at the lock cylinder of the door handle. Check the wire and make sure the mechanical rods are connected properly. Insert the key and turn it while you look at the lock cylinder from the inside of the door with the panel removed. If you are not sure how the rods should be operating and connected, pull your passanger side and see how that one is.

I had that problem, but it was simply bad contacts in the door lock. I pulled the door panel off and cleaned out the backside of the lock asssembly. When you turn the key, it grounds a contact in there with disarms the system.
I had problems with mine and went after market, Avital, installed by Best Buy,
I love it :D remote, backup battery, opens hatch, lets me know if a bird pooped on it :lol: this summer I'm replacing that wimpy horn-Best Buy did a great job, would recommend them :thumbs:
