Has anyone bought an interior screw set. I got the car back from body shop after my paint job, and of course I'm missing screws in the door panels, etc. Does the kit include EVERY screw, or what?
The only one I have seen is sold by MAD and maybe Ecklers, but it is for 84-90. Some screws would be interchangeable.
You can go on eBay and look under "91-96 corvette" and find a seller called "redneck43". I have dealt with him in the past a number of times. He is a good dealer and sells a whole lot of vette stuff. He may have screws.
I bought one of the screw kits for my 93. The kits are for 84-93. It includes all the screws and more. The more is some of the older C4's used different screws. I needed it to replace some screws that had been lost from the repairs done to my A/C inside the car. I think I got it for $20-30 from Ecklers. I thought it was worth it. You could probably get the screws from an auto parts place for less, but I didn't feel like going through the hassle. Call me lazy. I now have all the screws needed and can replace them when I need to.
Some screw kits come with a chart that tells you where each screw belongs.
The set I bought did not come with a chart: Its tough to figure out which is which. Each packet of srews just has an abbreviation on it.
See if you can get one with the chart, its easier.
