Ok... a bit of help for ya here.

Does the light come on at start up, or, after a short drive?

If it comes on at start up, the problem is with the EGR circuit, not necessarily the valve.

If it comes on after a short drive, then it's only the valve.

Replacing the valve can be a bit of a pain. The EGR is held on with 2 10mm bolts. The pain is this: There is sooo little room, a ratchet won't fit. I found that a geardrive wrench is the best tool.

The gasket may stick to the intake... thanks to the lack of space, I simply hit the valve with a very thin skim of RTV and reused the gasket.

That should about cover it.

It must be the valve 'cause the "service light" comes on after about 30-45 min of sustained driving.

When I went to check my EGR sensor, I come to find out that the wire had broke off between the engine and firewall. :banghead: One of these day, I'm going to either reconnection that wire or just rip out the entire EGR system
