Installing EGR.
:flag :seeya
Does the light come on at start up, or, after a short drive?
If it comes on at start up, the problem is with the EGR circuit, not necessarily the valve.
If it comes on after a short drive, then it's only the valve.
Replacing the valve can be a bit of a pain. The EGR is held on with 2 10mm bolts. The pain is this: There is sooo little room, a ratchet won't fit. I found that a geardrive wrench is the best tool.
The gasket may stick to the intake... thanks to the lack of space, I simply hit the valve with a very thin skim of RTV and reused the gasket.
That should about cover it.
