Stay away from this site. After 2 emails 1 snail mail I've got no replies.
Looks like they keep the $25 I sent thru Paypal. Wrote Paypal and the Domain but won't hold my breath.
This is the info I got from the Domain so I guess this is the crook.
The site is still up there and if a CF Member sends money it's lost.
I didn't lose that much.but if they won't return $25 they sure wont return a larger amount.

A brief summary follows: I was tod the email problem was probably a problem with their email account and the regular mail was because of 911 and Canadian Security measures was why I didn't recieve a answer to my letter.
The only thing that seemed to work was my Paypal payment. I was told that
I would receive return of the payment and also the product.

I have sent you 2 e-mails regarding the status of your order, and have not had a response from you. I therefore assume that there is a problem with our Hotmail account ( It could be the latest virus going around) and am sending you a response via another e-mail account.
I apologize for the delay with respect to your order.
I have contacted the Canada Post Corporation and have filed a complaint regarding the treatment of your order.
Their response is as follows:
"After September 11, for obvious security reasons, all mail going in to the United States is usually checked, which could cause a delay. "
I completely understand your dissatisfaction in this matter and as a jester of good will an in attempt to rectify this matter, we are sending you a new order via UPS with no charge. ( and will return your money to you)
It has been brought to my attention that you have been posting your dissatisfaction of this situation to other members of the Corvette Form and I completely understand your course of action given the circumstances that you find yourself exposed too.
After reviewing your posts and the posts of other members, I would like to respond with the following:
1) We have 100's of satisfied customers in the USA
2) We are not in the business of ripping anyone off or do we operate our business in a criminal capacity.
3) We cannot be responsible to the activities that affect the mail operations of our countries (Such as acts of terrorism that affect the way our countries handle the distribution of mail or any virus than affects our internet, e-mail accounts or our computers.)
4) You had the option of buying our product from one of our US distributors Corvette Central and avoiding any border crossing mail delays.
5) You had the option of contacting me by phone or my mail to explain your dissatisfaction to me, since both were listed on our website.
6) I too am a proud corvette owner and have spent considerable money on research and development in order to share new and innovative products with other corvette owners.
7) I am truly disturbed and hurt at the slanderous remarks that you made insinuating that I and my origination are criminals, consideration that my primary job is in law enforcement.
Having said this, Mr. Rickard, you are still the customer and you deserve to be treated correctly. I hope that our product is to your satisfaction and that keep your door handles looking new for years to come.
Once again I apologize for the delay in your order and the mix up as a result.

So, it appears they have an excuse for the serious delay... or do they ?? :confused: I ALSO asked them to stop CC'ng me with every email that they are sending you, that I have no clue who you were, just someone on the Forum that they should have treated a little bit better. :yesnod:
