Inexpensive code reading/scanning software for a laptop?
Anyone have any reco's for OBD scanning, code reading type software for a laptop? Ive seen several but have no experience with any of them. Can anyone give me a heads up on a decent package?

This will probably get moved to the "Scan and Tune" forum but after researching there it appears the best one is a software called Datamaster from http://www.ttspowersystems.com , you'll need a cable that plugs into the OBD port and computer, you can get it here from a guy named Andrew: http://www.akmcables.com
I just ordered a cable from Andrew the other day, the cool thing about the Datamaster software is you can download it for free and I think you get 20 runs before you have to buy it. I have heard it is very good.

I just received my EASE software. Can't wait to get it installed on my laptop and check out all the different things it monitors. Looks real nice! Website is: http://www.obd2.com
