two post lifts
Can I lift a C-4,5,6, corvette with a two post lift that lifts the car from four points under the car. If this is not a problem I would assume you lift from the jacking points does anyone have experience with this??? :banghead: I am searching for the right lift JR

I've seen them do it at a local vette shop here. But I gotta admit, it makes me nervous. And yes, they use the jack points. I myself went with a four post. I can do any thing the 2 post can, and the posts aren't in my way. The runners on the 4 post give me lots of places to support, jack, lay equipment up where I am, instead of on the floor where I'm not. Just my $0.02

I have a 2 post, never had a C5 on it yet but the C4 vert, I have to lift the rear about 1" w/ a floor jack other than that it's great, nothing gets in your way for working underneath :cheers:
