Default Keyless Entry Phenomenon!

Last Friday I posted that my car was acting extremly weird. The alarm sytem and keyless entry was not working correctly. The car also started by itself.

Anyway in the Nevada paper today an article said that literaly hundreds of people had problems with there keyless entry systems the same day. I am still thinking it was because the date was Friday the 13th :yesnod: . Anybody on the forums have any problems in the Valley?

Here is the link to the article---> http://<a href="http://www.reviewjou...html</a><br />

I think my car was the only one to start by itself though....

Here is my previous post---> http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=752773

Years ago I had a Bug that I used cuss like crazy because it seemed something was always breaking. One day I backed it into my one car garage and was working on something. While sitting in the pass seat looking for some fuses, the car suddenly started to crank over,in gear, all by itself.I actually took the keys out of the ignition and stared at them to make sure I wasnt losing my mind. The only thing that kept the car from going back into the wall was the doors were open resting on the walls of the garage and they both dug into the walls..............I never called the car a piece of poopie again after that.

My car starts itself and also takes itself for a short drive. Should I have this fixed?
