Needs a C5!!!
Hey guys my recently divorced cousin (6mos) is looking to get back to dating and he wants a car that makes a statement. I talked him into a vette and he has enough to get into a 97-99 coupe. I think that at his age 36 that he should get a red one to get attention from the ladies? He likes red, black and white. Which color should a guy like him get?

Make sure he gets a Vette because he WANTS a Corvette. Not just so he can attract ladies. If that's the case we will end up with another C5'er that doesn't wave. If he can't attract ladies on his own then the car can't help that much.

I know that. I like the C4 but he thinks the C5 will make him look younger and richer to the ladies. Anyway he asked me to ask the forum. Thanks guys..

Ma If that's the case we will end up with another C5'er that doesn't wave. If he can't attract ladies on his own then the car can't help that much.

I think any will do, cause its a great conversation starter.
I was at a "gathering" this summer, just a few guys, then a few girls walked in. The first question was, "Who has the corvette?"...and its just an 85.
Most ladies can relate, cause a lot of there dads always loved Vettes and either have one or want one. I think an older one actually shows more class. Shows you like them and not just have the money to buy them.
My girlfriends is the same way ( she was with me before the car)...her dad has a 64, and she's in love with the C2-C3 era....just my opinion. :auto:

any vette will start a conversation.... lots of people come up to talk to me and check out my car ...its an 88 ...people who don't have a vette sometimes don't look at them the same way we do....to them there is no difference between a c4 and c5....its just a kick butt car :D

I think guys that uses cars to get ladies is pretty sad.

sorry but that's a bad idea. one, if you need a car to get a lady, spend it on plastic surgery or learn some dating skills. :jester if you do get a girl because of the car, then you better protect your wallet from that gold digger.

I would go w/black C5. Black always looks super sweet (when clean). I am sure that if he thinks his car will be the selling point to women, he will keep it pretty clean. PS- What age group of ladies is he targeting? The reason I ask, is that although ppl do love my Vette, I get MANY more compliments from young women when they see me in my 03 Mustang GT (also black). What is the word they are using?.... Oh ya, "Your car looks PIMP". He may not be looking for 21 yr olds, but they do have their uses, when on the rebound. hehe
