Never had to change the tire. I should probably look for mine too! I think I've seen all components under the driver's seat. Your jack might be missing.
The jack should be located with the tire in the tire well,attached to the rim. You will see a nut at the back of the tub closest to the bumper Use the jack wrench to lower the spare tire tub down enough to where you can push up on the tub,when you can push up on the tub the nut-T jobber will release.Pull it towards you while supporting the tub and once the T is out of the way the tub is free to drop down.

One thing to add to what has been said, there should be a light bulb right next to the nut so that you can change the tire in the dark. It comes on by turning the dash dimmer untill the interior lights come on. The bulb gets broken a lot so you might just see the socket with the base of a bulb showing.
