AC hosed
HI guys and gals. well my ac compressor went south and the dealer here in hawaii wants $1200 for a new one not installed. Is their any place i can get one with the clutches online? The car is a 1996 CE Lt4.

Besides gmpartsdirect.com I would try posting an ad in the C4 Parts for sale/wanted section. You can also try Chris at Superior Chevrolet. Of course there is always E-bay.

$462 at the Last Detail (an authorized AC Delco retailer) http://www.tld-corvette.com - I didn't check to see if includes the clutch, but your old one may still be ok. If it seized, you also need an accumulator/drier and the system flushed.
