since i'm polishing the plenum, runners, tb, and fuel rails, and painting the manifold. i figured i should get some chrome valve covers. does anyone have these proform valve covers they sell for $38.88 through summit (jegs also has ac/delco that are very similar for the same cost). also, do i want or not want the baffle. i'm running the stock connections and pcv.
I don't have the chrome, but I got the crinkle black Proform valve covers. I've been very happy with them and they clear 1.6 RRs without modification.

I really like those, but the link provided states this...
"This valve cover will not work with 1993 through 1997 Camaro LT-1’s. The alternator bracket gets in the way."
I'm not sure if the alternator bracket is the same on the Camaro as it is on the LT1, but I guess I'm f'd - too bad they don't make them specifically for the LT1/4's...
:(
yep I'm here....So will the black valve covers work on a 94 LT1 Corvette?.... I don't know how the camaro is set up, but the ALT bracket covers the front part of the vavle cover on a stock Vette :yesnod:

Re: proform valve covers (86_RedRider)
I also own a pair of Proform covers and I am very dissapointed with them, all of the red paint and some of the black paint has come off the "Chevy" logo.
I ended up buying a pair of Ball Milled valve covers like the ones above.
