Sunday I bought a new turn signal flasher (for led tailights you need a "variable load" flasher about $8 at Auto Zone) for my 87 conv. My Chevy service manual says it is on right side of IP near the fuse block. I pull off right dash underpanel... a nest of wires, no flasher. I try drivers side... no flasher. I come home and read it again... maybe the fuse block shown is the aux one under console dash?? Before I try this again, has anyone actually seen it? I guess drivers side, right? Is it round like the replacement? (Plug in 2 wire?)
Nothing more fun for a 6'4" 290lb guy with a bad back than crawling under this dash! BOTH sides!! My wife was very impressed. She will be even more impressed if I actually stand up straight again someday. :cry
Yeah, mine says that too... Course 87 vettes have no swing down panel and the main fuse block is on the right end of the dash accessible only from the open door.
Thanks for the effort of looking it up, though!
