Does anyone know of a piant (besides the Mid American $49.00 a can type) that is brush on to paint calipers and hubs. I have used the spray and it lasted pretty good but i hate all the masking and fear of over spray around wht vert.

Painted mine with good ole Rustoleum Safety Red!!! You can get a quart at Wally World pretty cheap. Clean the calipers real good with brake clean, a small brass wire brush, and a scotch brite pad. gave them 3 coats and they still look good, even after driving in the winter weather. Sprayed the brackets with Rustoleum Gloss Black. I used a small space heater to help dry mine faster. You know the kind that you can pick up at Wally World for around 15 bucks. I sat in on a cardboard box blowing directly onto the caliper and it cut my drying time in half.
A buddy of mine did the calipers on his C5 the same way and his still looks good to. It worked for us and cost a lot less then the "caliper paint" that you can get thru the catalogs. Later, Zane

:iagree:
When I bought their black under hood paint it was just Dupi Paint with their lable pasted over the can and triple the price of the same paint at the auto parts store.

I did the same, but used gloss black. Didn't even use high temp paint. I figured it wouldn't last very long, but that was almost two years ago and they still look great. I just cleaned up the calipers real good with some brake cleaner and the brushed the stuff on right out of the can. They look great and the can of paint only cost me about $4
Thanks everone I picked up some rustoleum at Home depot. I have the first coat on the front left. I have a heat lamp on it to speed up the dry time.
