stud removal
I had a wheel lug strip when removing a wheel and tire from my 92 vette. I finally got the jug nut off after gringing and pulling on it. I need to remove the stripped stud.
Don't the studs come out by pounding on the stud. I pouded some but not with a lot of force. I have a propane torch ,do I need to heat the stud bolt and apply penrtrating fluid first. Any help would be appreciated.

You should just be able to pound the popie out of it and it will come out the back. I replaced all of mine that way. When you put the new one on, it probably wont go in all the way, so just put your lug nut on and tighten until the stud snugs up tight.
