wheel question.....................
Ive got a friend that doing some work on a 85 thats got 17-11 ZR1 wheels with 315s and the cars lowered and the tires tuck into the wheel well,yet ive seen ZR1 wheels on some Vettes and they stick out.Whats the story with that.

:cheers: I think your friend will need to use spacers behind the wheels to get them out.
Rear end set up on ZR1 was wider, I believe, but I could be wrong

And maybe the guy with the 85 doesn't have adapters :confused: Different backspacing...but it should rub at 11in I think :eek:

An actual ZR1 (rear) wheel has the same offset as 84-87 vettes, so it doesnt need a spacer plate. It should fit fine.

Fronts are 56mm, like 88-96 vettes.
