Anyone have some pictures of the rear end of a Vette without the bumper on it? I am looking to see how it bolts to the body and where the brackets go. My Vette is in storage and I can't get to it until later this weekend.
There are 5 brackets and lots of bolts. The main and longets bracket goes all the way across the top and has approx 8 7mm screws. Then there are two curved side brackets that follow the down curve of the bumper. These are 10mm nuts...there should be 5 nuts on each side. Then there is two flat brackets on each side just above the molding. There is a few bolts there. On the drivers side you will have the antenna in the way. On both sides you have bottom rear fender supports that attach to the frame(two per side)

I hope that isn't true. Patrick has a great site. Whenever there are sites about corvettes, I cruise them.
Corvetteforum has no equal, but I hope they are not pulling a USSR mentality.
