Coolant Temperature Switch Installation
I was just wondering where the heck is the Coolant Temperature Switch/Sensor that kicks the fans on at like 180 and off at 220? Is it under the throttle body? I thought I saw it the other day, cuz I wanna replace it, but I think I gotta unbolt the whole throttl body first.

I believe your '90 has two fans behind the rediator; in which case you don't have such a switch. The ECM has sole control over the fans and the on/off points are programmed into the EPROM.
You can install an aux fan switch after removing the plug in the block below #1 & #3 spark plugs. Then wire that new switch per my C4 Tech Tip to turn on both fan relays or only one, as you chose.

Wow......I never hear this before. Yes it does have dual fans behind the radiator, but I was never told there's no switch. I'll definitely try what u said if it comes down to it. What I did to fix the prob of the fans continuously running after the engine was killed, was I got a new GM relay and GM relay connector plug-in yesterday cuz I believe a switch may hav just been stuck in the old one which looked fried anyhow. If it isn't the relay or the connector, than it has to be the switch in this case which would probably be the ecm in the EPROM reading like u said. Thanks all and 65Z01 for the info. :seeya
