From: Los Angeles, CA.... I know a guy who has a Lambo with Corvette doors
I know it's been asked before, but I don't remember the answers. If I lost the key for the factory lock bolt, how do I get a new one? I Don't see any#s on the bolts/locks, how do you make sure you get the right/matching key? Also, who/where is the best source(meaning best price)?
Otherwise any tricks for getting the old locks out without a key?
TIA

Maybe you could find some one else with a 88 that could lend you their key, ( if they are all alike ) mine looks simple enough, Guess it could be bored out, or maybe a wheel shop would have one. check with a vette salvage yard.
good luck

 Ecklers or MAD may sell a key.
I am not sure if they are all the same or if there was some random keying.
Sorry, I have an 88, and I think I knew the answer but I have ADDD! I also now have Y2k wheels!

I have an 88 with "salad spinner" factory wheels.
The keys might not all be the same.
I checked my key, it says 'CORVETTE' with a 5 digit number.

They are not all the same, but alot of them are.....Between the 3 sets ive dealt with (one replacement, one 89 and one 88 set) two of the sets matched
