Mythbusters, Discovery Channel.
They just took an 87 Coupe and put a dead pig in it. For a month. I think they are trying to see that if a dead body was left in a car would you be able to get the smell out.
It sure looked like a nice car. The previous owner looked a little ill when they told him what they were going to do with it. :eek:

I saw the original episode and i am watching it again tonight. I remember that many forum members did not see it the first time and came to make a post to let them know and saw that you beat me to it. Good looking out.

The owner was a sellout just looking for cash. If he were a true Corvette lover (like me :flag ) He would have thrown the money back in thier face, and told them to get the F out of there before he got his gun. I don't see why they could not use a beat up 4,000 Vette or a Supra, but that car already stinks so I guess thats why they picked the Vette. I found it odd cause they seemed to like and respect the Corvette. They should have let that guy that does it for a living give it a try, since he said he could get any smell out.

Why the big deal about a post being a "dupe"? It's not like most topics discussed here haven't been rehashed over and over again, so why be so nasty about someone honestly posting a story that was done a few months ago? Pretty damn rude if you ask me.

At the end they sold it for only 2k. I think I would have bought it for parts all day long for 2k! Smell or no smell!! The engine/tranny, body, hood, wheels, etc-much more than 2 grand! I would by a 50 cent clothes pin! :yesnod:

yeah i saw this one too the other night and thought it was a new show and posted a thread about it and people started sending me instant messages saying "dupe dupe dupe" really pissed me off i didn't know it was a old show haha.

Yes it's a re-run, but it still ellicits an emotional response. The only problem is that the episode won't DIE! It's been shown, now they should just let it go!
