Default I got bubbles.

My car has bubbles. I neglected the paint on it for 2 months(stored outside, no cover) and its growing bubbles. The paint is only about 1-2 years old. There are little bubbles/and alittle bigger ones, almost like the car's starting to rust. But. The paint job came out great, 1-2 years ago. Anyone have/ had this problem. There isn't alot of them, I waxed the car and noticed them. Acouple here and there. No biggy if no more come out. Any way to prevent this from happening? I always clean the s@#t of my car. :U

Still the same, even being outside, all it was subjected to was snow/ice and cold.. I wouldn't think those things would make it bubble. How big are the bubbles? Is it only the clear, or paint and all??

I know it's been a while, but will the guy who painted it work with you?

From what I understand about painting, if there is unevaporated solvent in the paint whan the next layer gets sprayed that solvent could get trapped and work its way out later(a day, a week, a year, 5 years) it comes out in the form of a bubble :nonod:

I had a similar problem. The first time it was from body guy wiping bare fiberglass strand with wax and grease remover before applying repair epoxy. The second time it was caused by not curing the fusor with a heat lamp. Fusor can only cure 75% without heat. after paint was cured fusor tried to gas off and bubbled paint. This took 1 1/2 to 2 years to get ugly. Good luck this is a tough deal.
