Hello All, I have a '91 ZR1 and I'm about to embark on the grueling challenge of swapping out the entire blows (bose) system. I pulled the head unit but don't see an antenna connection. Any guidance on what to do to get the antenna converted for a new head unit would be greatly appreciated! Any other tips you guys may have would be nice too. Thanks in advance!

Re: Stereo Install (PWRHSE2K)
Reggie, the bose enclosures are acutally pretty good. Lot of thought and design wnet into them I would suggest re-using them as I did.
You can mount a 4" component system in the front and a 6.5 dedicated woofer or component system in the rear.
The antennae connector actually goes into the tuner box which is located under the passenger side hush panel. You'll need to get an extender to get it to reach the headunit.
What have you decided on for components in the system?
The hush panel is the carpeted piece under the dash in front of the passqanger seat. The whole piece comes off you also have to take your fuse door off to get to a screw behind it. The carpet by the fuse box has velcro on it. There are screws in the carpet toward the front and to the far back where you put your feet. The ant connector and the power for it is plugged into the silver receiver box under it. You have to stand on your head almost to get to it. Hope that helps.
