Recently, I have noticed the digital display on the dash flickering. This is most noticeable when the directionals are on, etc. The battery and voltage output seem fine. It seems to me I read in the forum that this could be caused by a bad ground, but I can't find the post. Any help????
Just went thru the dash thing.Hopefully it's fixed. I not only cleaned the pin connections, I followed Gordon Killebrews suggestion. Go under your drivers side in side compartment, The ambient over ride sensor is located under the dash on the back side of the bulkhead connector on a plastic cover over the wires entering the connector it is about the size of a dime and 1/2 inch thick with two terminals one is a black and white wire this is a ground wire-splice into it and run it through the firewall and ground it to the ground strap in front of the battery on the frame. This is the ground wire comming from cavity D3, the main ground culprit on you digital display. Hope it works. :seeya
Just remove the panel above the brake, gas pedal, look at where the wire cluster goes to the firewall-it's as described above about the size of a dime-1/2 in thick-just unplugs-two prongs, you want the black/white striped wire, splice into it and ground it, plug the ambient sensor back in. Killebrew says whether it works or not-leave it grounded. If this doesn't work-which it probably will-you may need to remove the cluster and clean the pin connections.

First things first.... the things that don't cost anything...
1). Clean your battery terminals.
2). Make sure you have a good battery and it is fully charged.
