My clock is draining my battery. :mad I understand that the clock is to turn off after a couple of minutes when the car is turned off. How do your correct your Delco Bose Stereo so that the clock turns off?
Thanks for the help?
You mean the DISPLAY stays on??? If so, the darn thing is wired wrong...someone has messed with it. These cars need a batery tender if you leave them sitting around for a while. Too many electronics are connected to the bat.

What year C4 do you you have?? My 92 Bose radio will continue to play for about 15 minutes even with the ignition key removed as long as you don't open either door. Once I open the door, the radio will shut off and the display immediately goes out. You can display the clock time by pressing the volume button after removing the ignition key.
This sounds like a radio head unit problem. The radio needs to get constant 12v in order for the clock to keep time and to maintain the memory for the radio station pre-sets. With the Bose in my 87, the clock display goes off when the ignition is turned off whether or not the radio is on or not.
The car is a 1988. You are correct that it could be a head problem or is there a relay that tells the display that the power is off. eg a door being opened. And has this relay stuck???
