only the general would think of making one radio into two!!! can someone please explain, why in the world they would take a radio and split it in two? the head, which is the same size as any ford or chrysler complete radio, then put a reciever buried under the glove compartment!!! lunicy!!!! i went to put in my new tunes the other day and imagine my suprise when th connectors didn't fit. upon further investigation i found out about the reciever portion. i got so frustrated i had to walk away, not enough time yesterday. does anyone know if the wires from the reciever (including the anttena wire) will reach the standard location

I wouldn't know if you should blame the General or if you should blame Bose.

"Buy Other Stereo Equipment"

In any case I feel your pain, ditching the factory crap is one of the best things I've done for my car.

Just for clarification... Bose makes the speakers, Delco makes the hardware components (or OEMs them from audio manufacturers). Kind of why it says Delco-Bose on the front.

You'll need to get an extension for your antenna wire. My secondary box was mounted in the rear. Had to use a 10' extension to get the wire up there. But, my system now sounds better than the stock system ever did! (I didn't have the Bose system, just the base am/fm tape deck)
