If you have a bad oil sending unit, it won't allow the fuel pump to energize. or if it is unplugged (oil sending unit) the fuel pump won't energize.

Is the pump working ar are the injectors not firing? Do you have fuel pressure? do you have spark? If you have fuel pressure your computer may not be getting an rpm signal from your distributor causing no injector pulse.
