Speakers on dash

It looks like the speakers on my dash are just plugs . Is that true ? or are they something that went with the Original bose. There are aftermarket speakers in the doors and back deck. Also New Radio and CD (89 vert) If they are useful I want to use them. :confused:

If you have a bose sys, they are just plugs, non-bose had speakers in the dash...

Silly question... What do you mean when you say the speakers are just "plugs"?

Plugs, meaning, they're the same exact molding as the speaker mount, with the speaker carpet and and screw holes and everything... they just don't have the actual cutout for the speaker.

I cut a hole in em and mounted my tweeters under there. :cheers:

So technically, the bose system is only a four speaker system? Wow, I just learned something new for when I update the stereo! I thought I was going to have to tear the dash apart to put new speakers up there. Guess not!
