Default California question

How far is *too far* to take exhuast mods in Cali? I'm going to be moving there this summer (San Jose), and as of right now I only have the Corsas. My plans *were* LTs with Random Tech cats eventually. Is that even gonna fly in CA?

CA members - what have you all done, and how did you get it past emissions?

Dyno, we don't need any stinking dynos. Santa Cruz County no dynos.
Enhanced yes but no dyno.
San Jose, Santa Cruz, etc. A 2 bedroom 2 bath 2 car garage with a whopping 1200 sfgt of living space is $629,500 thats in Santa Cruz San Jose is little cheaper. Moving here? You're in for sticker shock.

You're best is to change nothing and keep it tuned.
A new car today is 90% cleaner than a car of the 60's.
Arizona has some of the best real estate prices in country why would you want to move here?
Trust you can't afford to buy here.

My understanding is that you cannot relocate the cats at all, so longtubes will not fly. You will fail the visual. Sorry...

Some of the LT1/4 shorties have CARB #'s though.

Bay Area is a fantastic place to live, other than the cost and traffic :D
