Thanks for the help. I was hoping to find someone who had installed one on a C4. They say to not use any spring spacers with it. Also they suggest using different bolts so you can adjust the ride height. I am wondering if the spring will change the height much???

i have it. you do need to follow their advice. the rubber at the mount is thick enough that spacers aren't necessary. it will raise the rear of your car a bit. longer bolts will let you lower it some.

I've had a vb sport rear spring(same one) on both my '86 and 88. I believe my 86 had different end bolts, cause it sat quite a bit lower. My '88 didn't sit noticably higher when I bolted the spring up, but did after I installed a full set of poly bushings, so maybe my old bushings were causing some sag.

Do follow their instructions and install it w/o the spacers.
