if anyone who installed the testarossa hatch on there car, have a "slight" difficulty shutting the hatch? I can shut mine, but it has just a tiny bit of push to it, I think its just the weatherstripping being compressed when closing....otherwise---its a excellent looking back setting especially with the big c4r wing.... :nopity

I could be wrong but I think he could be talking about the Carrera hatch or something like it on the C5 West website. www.c5west.com/dex.html
Even my stock hatch takes a little umph to compress the weatherstripping to close it. I try to slam it gently. I'm sure you could adjust the latch upwards, but it'd be more likely to leak and rattle.
Hi, sorry I confused everyone about the testarossa hatch, as for c5wests carrera hatch---Yuck,,,,not that style...I order mine from Vanacors Corvette parts.....California. It does look like the ferrari version, but (my opinion) looks pretty nice with the c4r wing behind it. If someone can give me some directions on how to post pics on the forum---I would love to post some......I'd appreciate!!
 Getting back to the original question, I think you'll find that your new hatch isn't near as heavy as your old chunk of glass. That's probably why you need the extra push to seal it. Just a guess. Call the folks you bought it from, they're good people :yesnod:
I wonder if someone with a Testarosa would put on a Corvette Kit :conehead
Negative. :nono:
The TR is perhaps one of the most recognizeable sportscars of the 20th Century...other than the vette, of course! I can't imagine any tifosi cutting up is precious F-car.
