A fairy tale
So my wife says "I'd like to try driving the Vette, can I ?
"Sure!" <says I> as I pull over into a gas station to switch drivers....
She gets behind the wheel, adjusts the seat, adjusts the mirrors, adjusts her makeup...blah, blah, blah, etc. etc. etc., and finally puts it in gear and starts rolling.
We go approximately 1 mile reaching speeds slightly in excess of 29 mph. She puts on her right signal and rolls to a stop on the shoulder.
"What's wrong?" <says I>
...From her lovely curvaceous lips I hear the words no man wants to hear -
"I don't like it!"
HUH? WHUT? <says I>
"I can't see over the other cars, their lights are blinding me in the mirror, it's hard to steer and I feel like my butt's dragging the asphalt!" <says she>
"I love the car but really want you to do all the driving!"
"Oh - darn - are ya sure that's what you REALLY want? <says I>
"Yes"
"FINE!"
"OKay"
"Alright then"
"uh-huh"
She hasn't been behind the wheel for over a year and I lived happily ever after. The End. :D

 that is a red rocket for sure, congrates on a super valentines gift and thanks for the great idea Tom, next valentines day I'll have to get my wife a nice new vette then maybe she'll keep her hands off mine :boxing (Acually my first vette was a valentines gift from my wife 2 years ago. Really love that girl) She can drive it anytime she wants :steering:
My fianse used to drive my old vette. A 94 LT1 auto. Now that I have the GS, she is scared to death to get behind the wheel and have to shift gears. All good with me. Although, I would at least like her to know how to back it out of the garage in the unlikely event of a house fire.
