I'm not sure what the material covering my 87 dashboard is. Is it thin leather? Also, what is the best product to clean and preserve it. Thanks in advance for the help.
The dash is painted STYROFOAM if its anything like my 84.I use Armorall cleaner. Its in the white and blue bottle.Once its clean I dont put anything else on it.Ive found it streaks really easy with anything on it.
It seems to be strofoam painted. I have recently started using armor all cleaning wipes. there is no streaking and no lint. When I used any kind of lubricating product, the streaking was terrible. :yesnod:
Thanks for the advise. I'l give the lemon pledge a try. I'm also remembering a tread on using orange oil to clean the underhood area. Is my memory serving me right?

Let the stuff dry for awhile then go ahead and put on what you like or Tuff Stuff. I use Meguair's Gold vinyl and rubber plastic protectant, or the STP Son Of a Gun. I think the Meguair's Gold is better not as oilly but when dry both are
