Targa top headliner.....
Any body have any ideas on where to get a headliner for the targa top for a 1984. I tried MAD, Eicklers, Corvette Central, and some others. No luck. Thanks.

I can hook you up. I have a nice one that I am going to sell because I now have a targa and a painted top. Let me get home and take a picture of it and we can play "lets make a deal".

Repop is available from Corvette America for about $150. GM still has them for about $210. Headliner can be removed, covering stripped, and relined with headliner fabric for about $25. You need fabric with foam on back. You also need 3m spray contact trim adhesive. Reinstall with double face tape on back of headliner to reinstall. Easy and inexpensive fix that takes about 2 hrs start to finish.

Pete k, do you think that the headliner board is held in now with double back tape? If it is I will pull it down to see what I have to do to replace it. Thanks.

Made a new headliner board out of 1/4" dense cardboard, got some headliner material at a fabric store,,, tore out the old and glued with 3m spray adhesive and in place...

I have read where someone used cork sheets from Lowes. Glued them in before gluing new headliner material in. Supposed to quiet the car down. :smash:
