Custom Eprom

I was reading in the tech tips about someone who had his eprom cutom programmed. They changed the fan settings and overdrive speeds and a few other things is there anyoneon the forum who does this. I see in that post they must have been near because he had his car there. Is that the only way or could i send mine to someone?
