Re: Corvette-Rubber.com - any recommendations ? (C4SMAJ)
good outfit....I bought a windshield seal from them...good quality stuff...Im told they make the rubber for GM....
:seeya
:iagree: They make a lot of the older weatherstripping for the Corvettes for GM. Great quality. I have a number of their pieces on my 93. Now, I need to get that windshield header strip from them...hopefully that will stop my leaks. :D
Re: Corvette-Rubber.com - any recommendations ? (Stingraynut)
as tough as it is to part with money, you would be a LOT better off buying genuine GM. i bought w'striping from a "replica" company and it just did not have the inserts and reinforcement at the neccessary places. good luck. :chevy :flag
Re: Corvette-Rubber.com - any recommendations ? (1MoorTym)
One question. I hate to be sarcastic here. But if Corvette rubber made this original, cracking-prone OEM rubber, than why are we replacing it with the exact same crack-prone OEM rubber?
Shouldnt we be using higher quality EPDM (a weathering/ crack resistant polymer) seals or something?
Or has Corvetterubber selling a better quality weatherstrip right now aftermarket than they sold as OEM to GM back in 92-96?
