C5 brake conversion pics...
here are a few pics I took of my brake upgrade...i need to take more but i have been really busy with school and it has been raining here about every day so when finals are over and the weather clears up i will have much better pics...

That is really great!A friend of mine is going to do a brake upgrade on his Z06 soon and he is going to give me all of his existing brake parts.What does it take to install on a C4? :thumbs:

you need to have the calipers, caliper cradle brackets, pads, rotors, and adapter brackets to mount the c5 calipers on a C4. I got mine from Ed Salinas on this forum. He does great work :cheers:

price break down:
2 used C5 calipers from C5 section (only on 2003 C5 for 670 miles) $70
Custom Brackets by Ed Salinas $130
2 Raybestos Brute Stop Rotors (Rockauto) $100
Raybestos Brute Stop Pads (Rockauto) $50
Brackets, Pins and other hardware from Superior Chevy $86
Paint $15
it only takes about 15 min to put each side together, so it is a fairly easy job to do...

I'm buying Baer eradispeed rotors, all four, and there are C4 sizes 12" and 13" and the c5 size says 12.75"...I'm just confused on what to order as I'm new at this stuff...
