Default Replacement backup lights lens ?

I want to replace my backup lens's (or enclosures actually) in my 90 with new ones due to the fogging and just plain general ugliness these things show over time. Anyone make an aftermarket copy or do I have to get them from the dealer ? Anyone know the cost from either ? Thanks

most likely a dealer item, and expect more $$ than they're worth. I'd try to polish the old ones first, try a product called "flitz". It's at most Ace hardware stores??

http://www.corvettecentral.com has it listed at $37.75 each. They only show one part # though. I don't know if you need 2 of the same and just flip one over or if there really are a L and a R version.

I have a set right here in my hands. They are labled RH & LH but I can't
see a reason they can't be flipped and exchanged. I did work on polishing
one of the lens. It's hard to do the inside but the one I did looks better.

Eckler's prices these @ $39.99 each and there are separate part #'s for right and left (L/R). It looks like there are no lens kits available separately, so we're screwed. Sound familiar? The one part is for 84-90 and the other is for 91 up. For whatever reason, this is a real weak point on our Vettes; they tend to fog and discolor easily. I was wondering if that stuff that refurbishes back windows on verts would work on these lenses?? It's Fitz @ 10.99 for 4 oz., can also be used on metal and fiberglass. All it is, is a very fine polishing compound.
