Re: Which hatch vent is best? (CorvetteRay)
I have the mid america. It takes about 30 seconds on and off. It looks and works great. I have not tried it, but I have only heard great things about the gadgetman vent.
I bought the gadgetman last week and installed it this morning as I was getting ready to go to work...took 3-4 minutes and fit perfectly. I was afraid the window would wallow, but it is real solid...I loved the ride to work...no buffeting, great ventillation...wow!!! I looked at some of the others that are available but for $26 including postage it is a super buy.. :seeya :seeya
CorvetteRay, I would recommend that you re-consider getting one of these. I was under the impression that having one w/b great. Well, the one I got from Mid America actually help'd create a huge problem with my interior lights flickering and my alarm going off without any reason. Seems like when I installed the Mid America device it didn't fit right and broke my hatch switch, which links to the interior lights, now I've go to disconnect the hatch switch. visit the search link and click on interior lights flickering or alarm not functioning properly. Just my .02
Gadgetman gets my vote. I bought one a few months ago, and in the last 3 weeks have had to take it on/off about 15 times.. It's a breeze, and I've NEVER had a problem with it (I was paranoid about the rear window blowing out  )
Now I wish I had the new style instead!!!
