Default Corvette Fever- July

Meant July issue, was confused, seems a bit early to be getting July's issue. but it's here!

You guys see the magazine yet? C6 is taking a beating, big time. Also great article about Sue Callaways "new" Olive Pearl Green Speedster. What an awesome car, even got an "extra" 100 hp. I saw three of these together at Bloomington, I believe it was in 91 when they first came out. The brite green, the yellow, and the blue I believe. This cars styling and performance still blow away almost all exotics. In my opinion " a true work of art". With only 10 cars built and this being a Callaway reunion at Bloomington, I can't wait to see how many if any of these Speedsters make it back to the show. Great article about how this latest speedster came out of retirement. I know at least Sue's will be there. Congrats on your new ride. Sue if you read this forum. You guys truly have "nothing to prove". Don't miss the atricle page 4- Callaway Mystique. Reeves and company have made some remarkable cars but I do believe it just doesn't get any better than these. If you guys read the forum, and happen to have another in hiding I'd gladly exchange my first born, he's 26 and should be out of the house by now anyway. Someday I'm going to own one of these.

No, that is me smiling after my Detroit Lions kick your cheeseheads buttocks this fall! (Hey, it COULD happen!?? :D ) You have to understand our love/hate relationship with our Honolulu blue and silver guys. The local papers are already hypin our team and how our trades and draft picks are going to make it "A WINNING SEASON". Yeah, just like the last two years when they told us the same thing.

That is a great issue
If you would like more (technical) information about that Green Speedster of theirs, the June issue of Corvette Enthusiast Magazine (might still find a copy on the newsstands - http://www.corvetteenthusiast.com ) has a 4 page article introducing that car to the world last month
While that Speedster isn't planing on being at Bloomington, three other Speedsters will be there

The full Bloomington Gold "Showgram" is included and the Callaway Corvettes are indeed the "Special Collection XX" with many rare & unique models invited

It's a good issue generally - I like seeing the Bloomington brochure, even though I don't think we'll be going for a couple of years.

The Speedster is not my thing, but it is gorgeous.
