I purchased my 90 6 speed corvette a little over a year ago. 14 months later I've replaced the rims with chrome replica 03 rims, Goodyear F1 tires, new rear wheel hubs/bearings, free flow Cats, KDB exhaust, new Pioneer/whatever speakers amps etc professionally installed , drilled/slotted rotors, 2 tone seat covers (look like they've been recovered, an inexpensive alternative to doing them right which I will do soon), Arizona Speed & Marine high flow runners, Ported plennum, Converti-coupe, Floor mats, fuel injectors, fuel pump, IAT sensor extension kit, and tons of other stuff. I've also replaced the emblems and every worn interior piece I can find. Yesterday I got it back from the body shop with a new paint job and today I put in a chrome alternator with bracket and finally replaced the shocks with IAS Edelbrock (thanks to another forum member Rocco16 Larry and the buy used parts for sale portion). OMG, what a difference! These corvettes are handling machines! I just lowered the rear and am going to lower the front next weekend. I've driven nothing but ordinary cars my entire life and finally got my first corvette so naturally this thing felt like it handled like a dream. I have noticed when cornering hard and accelerating while doing so if I hit a bump it would jump sideways a bit. Several weeks ago I was sitting at a traffic light one morning after waiting in line for about 10 minutes to get on the interstate. I was first at the light when a SUV pulled up along side of me and I knew he was going to try and jump in front of me instead of waiting in line like everyone else. You guys know the type. I wasn't going to let that happen and I must admit he was pretty quick but looking slow soon thereafter. I learned a good lesson going into the circle turn on the onramp though. Pretty much wrecked but managed to save a nice slide through the corner. DON'T BE STUPID IS WHAT I LEARNED!. In the future I will save it for the autocross events they hold here. It still handled what I percieved to be great though. Today when I replaced the shocks I found that the 2 front ones had no fluid in them and the 2 rears were not much better! I put those new shocks on and d&^%, that is one heck of a cornering ride! Don't want you to think I hot rod around all the time but an occassional corner is a bit of fun. Been a great hobby, I thank all you forum members that have helped. I wish I could post a picture to show off my ride but I can't figure out how. I've learned alot over the past year and look forward to sharing what I've learned with new C4 owners and learning what I can from the experts out there, Al :flag

BTW, glad you like your shocks.
:iagree:   I was getting dizzy. :jester By the way, talk about night and day when I had my shocks replaced back a few years ago. Very easy to do.

Technically speaking.... shouldn't that be "Begin a new paragraph"? Seeing that the picture came from an official Utah Education website (http://www.sanjuan.k12.ut.us), Im concerned about the education system in Utah now.

Frank,
Glad you like the new shocks! Sounds like your vette is coming along with all the work you have done to it. Maybe I will see you at some local event.
