huh? did someone undercoat the exhaust? that sounds more like an oil buildup.
as for removing it... why?
It's such a pain. on metal, it's easy. just use a heat gun or a media blaster... but on plastic... ick.

Yes it is
It it not oil, but overspray of the undercoating on part of the rear pipes visible from the back (I have muffler elems.) It is also on the underside. I show the car some and would like it remove it, but it seems hard as plastic.
