How Much Damage can I do?
Everytime I take the Vette out I NEEED to hit WOT at least once in the cruise just to have fun :auto:
Everytime my Dad is with me he says "You're gonna blow it up..you'll see"
Question 1: How much damage can I do by going WOT alot??
Car--> 1993 LT1 62k miles
Additional info- I did blow a cooling line a couple of times when I first got it but I found out from Carfax that the car sat almost a year before I bought it.
Also- I've been wondering- can I hurt anything by downshifting to slowdown in an A4? (I dont do it alot, just when I gotta stop quick)

You won't hurt a thing, I've driven my '95 at WOT for 65,000 miles, and my '93 so far for 6,000 miles. Many many burnouts and many hits on the rev limiter.
