Everytime I take the Vette out I NEEED to hit WOT at least once in the cruise just to have fun :auto:
Everytime my Dad is with me he says "You're gonna blow it up..you'll see"
Question 1: How much damage can I do by going WOT alot??
Car--> 1993 LT1 62k miles
Additional info- I did blow a cooling line a couple of times when I first got it but I found out from Carfax that the car sat almost a year before I bought it.
Also- I've been wondering- can I hurt anything by downshifting to slowdown in an A4? (I dont do it alot, just when I gotta stop quick)
:cheers:

Not REALLY...but don't do it TOO much, as I'm sure you can mess SOMETHING up in the tranny. But, on the going WOT quite frequently..it's actually BETTER to go WOT at least once everytime you drive it...Cleans out the carbon. :thumbs: Only ill affects I can see, is the price of new back tires. :lol:
You won't hurt a thing, I've driven my '95 at WOT for 65,000 miles, and my '93 so far for 6,000 miles. Many many burnouts and many hits on the rev limiter.
