Driving Shoes
Fed-Ex delivered my Puma "speed cats" from Zappos.com yesterday.
They are essentially low top wrestling / Tai-chi shoes. They have very thin soles and are very light. So far I like them WAY better than my Piloti's.

Nice! Thanks for the heads-up... I've been contemplating these for some time now, but since I don't technically race, it'll be hard to get it past the wife. To her, my "driving shoes" are whatever happen to be on my feet when I'm driving, not a special pair I put on to drive... :D

Thats why I picked up Puma Roma's.
An all around shoe in my opinion. Walking/Grass sports (good traction for soccer/football) / Running.
Not the best for basketball and tennis though, but they are way thinner than my last shoes and even though I have wide feet, I think working the gears will be much easier now. (Size 13)
Ohh yeah, 56$ at the puma store.
I'll let you know how they work for auto-x'ing after memorial day if you want!

Wrestling shoes and driving shoes are nearly identical (no nomex in wrestling shoes :rolleyes: )
Everyone has their own preferences, I prefer the high tops for mor ankle support on multi hour drives
