"Low Coolant" Light Malfunction
My '87 Z52 apparently has a bad sensor. It would light up, and then turn off, randomly for the last year, while functioning normally for weeks between incidents. Now it is on all the time, but both the radiator and coolant recovery bottle are always full when checked.
Where is this sensor, and how hard is it to replace?

It's the little gizmo on the right hand radiator tank Just below the upper transmission cooler line, with a single wire hanging out. The wire has a single blade connector that easily unplugs. Now the sensor has two small clips that will most likely break when you attempt to remove it. A new sensor is around five bucks.

Make sure you bleed all the air out of the system first....Mine would come on randomly until i bled all the air out of the hoses :smash:
