Whooo Hoooo!!
I finally found one. Drove it into work today. Iam stoked!!
Its not really what I was looking for color wise but it was to good of a deal to pass up.
1991 Coupe. Auto. Red with gray interior. The car is in really good condition. Paint shines with only a couple small rock chips in the front. The driver seat is worn a little. Other than that is looks like a new car. The previous owner always had it covered. with the exception of the 100k miles they drove it. :)
I had $11,500 to spend and called on this one last because I thought it must have been a pile for the $7900 asking price. In reality it was the best one I'd looked at. So I paid him $7500 and drove away. I think that was a pretty good deal.
Sitting in traffic on the way home today might not be that bad.
Welcome to the Forum and congrats on your new Vette.
You might want to go to Thorobred Chevy in Chandler and get one of their $35 felt dash pads to keep from burning your hands in the 115deg heat. When I had my '35th in Gilbert it saved me several times; and it protects the dash pad from sun & heat damage. :yesnod:
With part of that $4k remaining you can do some nice mods and still have enough for the usual R&R.
You have begun a magical journey into the realm of Corvettes. You will never be the same person you were before you climbed into the cockpit. You will smile a lot. You will look upon other car brand owners with pity. You will realize that you are luckier, smarter and happier than the guy driving a Neon! You WILL have fun! Congrats and welcome to the brotherhood. :steering:
Congratulations
I agree with the others. Its only the beginning. I have owned mine for only a couple of months and have already replaced the wheels and added a stereo system to it. I didnt have the money to do anything after buying it, but its amazing how you just want to put money into them. I am not too mod crazy, but I would love to add a Corsa exhaust system. Hell, I already think how nice it would be to add a black on black C4 to go with the one I have now. They are a lot of fun. Enjoy!!!!
