One of my coworkers convinced her husband to let her take his immaculate 1990 Coupe to work yesterday. She has been telling me about this car for quite some time and I was finally able to have a look. It was black with some very nice chrom rims and it the letters "LSV" on the lower right corner of the butt (same place the ZR1 logo goes. She said that it was some sort of special Corvette but that's all she knew. She says it also came with 3 different rim and tire combos that can be changed for different purposes. Anyone have a clue?
Did it have a high mount brake light on the hatch and convex bumper? In other words was it a Lingenfelter ZR1?

Yes, it had a high mount brake light mounted at the top of the rear window. I didn't look very closely at the shape of the rear bumper so I couldn't tell you about that. This car is much louder than a typical Corvette.
Does anyone have a clue as to what the performance numbers and power output are for this particular car. We weren't going to race, but she seemed very confident that it would beat my '95 6-speed.

RKreighs (in the ZR1 section here) laid down 505hp at the rear wheels :smash:
OMG! Is his car a stock Lingenfelter? My motor doesn't even make that kind of power if it is removed from the car and run with no accessories! I wonder what it cost when it was new. Mabe I can get her to let me drive it next time. :smiliedrool: I have tried to find information about this car on the net but I haven't had any luck.
