Fuel Filter?

Fuel Filter?

If i'm hammering on the car, it sometimes has a hesitation, then takes off. It mostly happens if i'm going through some sweeping corners hard, not at all in on a straight line. Its like the engine has nothing, just for a split second, then is fine.

I'm thinking the fuel filter may be a bit plugged, i'm figuring thats a cheap place to start. How hard is it to replace? Any tips or suggestions?

All you need is more gas in the tank. The fuel pump sucks in air during cornering. Also, it seems the fuel gauges aren't very accurate.

I did have a quarter of a tank when it happened...must have been cornering hard!

I'll try it again on a full tank.

every car I have had had more power after changing the fuel filter...alot of people neglect it
