Default Replacement Bulbs

I am a new owner of an old vette or is that an old owner of a new vette!
1986 model.
Anyway, my right brake light and turning signal isn't working. Got the bulbs - how to put them in is the problem. Don't have an owners manual and have lots of little things that need to be done. Great looking car and I love it - but ....can someone help? Also, are there any particular problems with this model that I should be aware of? Thanks.

First for a new Vette owner is to get on Ebay and buy a factory Maintenance manual, not one of the cheapies from Auto Zone. The 86's are the highest priced ones as far as bids go, don't know why, maybe supply and demand. They will be in a blue notebook or have a red cover. This is what the GM dealer uses. You can buy a new one from the producer, but you pay more. To change the bulbs take your rear license plate off and go through the hole or crawl under the car and try to reach up and change them either way is a pain in the butt. I've got an extra owners manual. If interested email me at
