Door Panel carpet replacement
My driver side door panel carpet is in tough shape. I noticed that replacements are available. Anyone have any experiences replacing these carpets or should I cough up the $$ for a whole new door panel?? :flag

Its not that hard to do. It takes some time though, and make sure you have an extra set of hands (makes it easier). First thing is to take out the 400million staples off the back. Then gently pull the carpet off. Next, get a heat gun (this is where the extra set of hands comes in) and have some on scrap off the tons of glue with a putty knife.
after its clean, new glue, new carpet, new staples (electric staple gun helps), and you are done.
