Tell that to the Mustang Cobra driver I spanked so bad he wouldn't even look at me. Most of these guys don't even know what a vette is capable of or the difference between vettes. They are just ignorant of anything else but what they drive.

hey guys, i'm gonna keep the link silent for now and let it blow over...that 5.0 guy is still runnin his mouth, but most people let it die some. but, by no means did i convince anyone. it's just frustrating when guys running 14s and very high 13s r saying LT1 vettes r garbage and that all of these guys "walk LT1 vettes on the regular." i saved the timeslip pics (thanks Mojo, nice vids also) just incase it resurfaces. i'm supposed to have my buddy help post my car on ebay this weekend. if so, i definatley won't run it. but if we don't get to post it (i work all weekend, gotta find some extra time) then just maybe i might rip a few runs off and hope for a 13.5 or so. i'd rather not, but i can't stand trash talk on a car that i love so much, especially by ppl with slower cars.

Opinions are like AHoles - Everyone has one and sometimes they are AHoles too. Don't take any criticism personally from these guys. Many may be jealous, envious, and wished they had your Corvette. Let it go. It isn't worth any emotional turbulence.

My buddy here is in the office is a great guy, he has 2004 Golf 1.8 T exhaust, aftermarket ECM nice quick little car probably runs mid 14's but it is still no contest for my 91 L98. I am not sure of all the mods my car has because I bought it used. It has long tubes, exhaust, frisbie removed, some intake porting and a custom chip. I totally somke that stupid Hilter mobile. I hate VW espcially my wife's TDI
