Before you answer, I know there is no hole in the manifold for a standard distributor and..blah..blah..blah....
Now having that out of the way, has anyone x'd out there optispark for a standard distributor? If so what wires are different from the standard hei type distributor?
It would require a ton of work to mod the electronics.
check out the LTCC - http://www.bailey-eng.com or delteq (don't have a link) for high voltage bypass. the LTCC uses 8 LS1 coils, the delteq uses a northstar coil pack. there is a delteq for sale in c4 parts.
I was just using HEI as a reference. I have a MSD, but the diagram references an HEI hook up. I am putting an engine in the car that is a non opti motor and wondered what I am going to do with the wiring.
